Demystifying 4% Tax Credits

As important as 4% low-income housing tax credits have been to RAD transactions, they’re still greatly underutilized. There’s a large percentage of the public housing inventory that could be recapitalized with debt and 4% credits. In this video, I try to remove some of the mystery surrounding 4% credits but also share some useful tips in estimating the amount of funding that a 4% transaction could generate to support conversion.
